Entertaining is also important to the owners, who are quite active and try to enjoy their gorgeous surroundings as often as possible. To aid this, a second structure— which has a separate entrance and is connected to the main house via a lower-level tunnel—was envisioned as a “sports barn.” It houses a golf simulator, pool table, and shuffleboard, as well as a lower level that houses motor vehicles for exploring the property. It is the ultimate hang-out spot for the family, as well as the neighbors and friends lucky enough to receive an invitation.

Visser considers it an honor to design homes and play a part in improving people’s everyday lives. Whether that means a voluminous structure on a generous lot or an intimate cottage, the attention to even the smallest of details is the same. A home should grow more loved as the years go by, and when it is imagined as impeccably as a J Visser Home is, then it is sure to stand the test of time.
