Fall Social Media & Digital Communications Internship
A unique opportunity to gain exposure and experience in the fast-paced and exciting world of high-end publishing, by engaging with a variety of divisions, and taking the lead on social media, digital communications, and PR collaborations with our celebrity authors and talents.
Term: August — December, with flexible hours.
Location: Remote or In-Person at the Washington, D.C. Office.
Qualifications:
Seeking a current undergraduate student or recent graduate, who possesses:
A sincere interest in books, architecture, interior design, events, or any of our subject areas in the creatives
An eagerness to learn
Excellent written communication skills
Confident and dynamic social media abilities
Duties:
Connect with relevant industry actors: influencers, authors, etc.
Create social media content
Assist in branding efforts
Help craft a cohesive message consistent with the mission of benton buckley books
Support marketing team at live and online events, launch parties, and book signings
Fall Business Development Internship
An extraordinary opportunity to gain exposure and experience in the fast-paced and exciting world of high-end publishing, by working directly with our Principal Publisher’s team on branding and business development. Create real business proposals, and see your ideas implemented in a global publishing house.
Term: August — December, with flexible hours.
Location: Remote or In-Person at the Washington, D.C. Office.

Seeking a current undergraduate student or recent graduate, who possesses:

An interest in branding, marketing, and/or business development
Excellent written communication skills
Confidence in project development and planning strategies
Duties:
Work directly to support the Principal Publisher
Introduce new and creative ideas for branding and business development
Collaborate on developing new book-specific and business plans
Assist one-on-one the Chief Operations Manager with the production process
