Lucila Diaz — Interior Designer

“Things, just like people, have energy. It matters what you bring into your home and where you place it.”

Lucila Diaz, interior designer

An Excerpt from “/be-spok/[bespoke]: a philosophy of beauty” by Beth Benton Buckley:

Though she may not formally practice fengshui, Lucila Diaz does allow herself to feel each room before she starts designing, getting a sense of its energy and letting it “talk” to her. She intuits what the room wants to become and how it will relate to the people that live in it, helping it to coexist in harmony with the activities that will take place there. That’s why she named her design studio Harmony Sense, and since 2006 she has been helping her clients achieve their life goals by creating spaces that reflect and express who they are.

After enjoying a successful career in marketing in the corporate world in Latin America, Lucila came to Canada in 2003 to complete her MBA. But she had always watched design shows on television and dreamed of one day bringing her own décor ideas to life
