PHOTOGRAPHY

If you and our publisher have already decided on a project, please upload your photography using the guidelines detailed below.

If you have not yet selected a project, please submit 10 sample images of each project you’d like us to consider. These may please be uploaded to your Dropbox in labeled sub-folders (see details below).

We will be in touch to finalize the decision.

Photography Specifics:

Please send us all the professional, high-resolution photography you would like us to consider for your feature in this book.

• Professional photography only

• File types: .jpg, .png, .tif (TIF’s preferred)

• High-resolution files: 500 dpi minimum, at least 7,000 pixels on their short side

• No low-res files

• No watermarked files

• 25-35 images

• A good selection of both horizontally and vertically oriented photographs

• Labeled by location (guest-bath.jpg, primary-bedroom.jpg etc)

Photography Submission:

You must own the rights to the photography you are providing us. You will be required to sign a release once your final layout is approved.

If you are logged into your existing Dropbox account and are having issues with uploading to Dropbox or getting storage size errors. Please log out of your current Dropbox account, then navigate to the shared Dropbox link. You will be able to upload the photography without having to add the photography to your account first.

As soon as your high-resolution photography is ready, simply drop it in your Dropbox folder and we’ll get started right away on your layout design.

Photography Release: This is, of course, a necessary step in the publishing process. It confirms that you own the rights to the photography so we can go to press.
