Hosted at the Lutron Global Experience Showroom in partnership with Lutron and the Female Design Council, the celebration brought together featured architects, industry leaders, creative collaborators, and the entire bbb team for an evening of connection, conversation, and collective admiration.
A special edition of the New View series, Women of Architecture honors twenty-five extraordinary women architects whose work transcends the built environment. Through thoughtfully curated imagery and intimate narratives, the publication illuminates their individual philosophies, celebrates their creative contributions, and gives permanence to voices that deserve to be heard.

The evening was punctuated by heartfelt remarks from Cecilia Ramos of Lutron, Beth Buckley, founder of benton buckley books, and Sussan Lari of Sussan Lari Architect PC, a featured architect and the book's foreword author. Their presence underscored the spirit of the gathering — a celebration not only of individual achievement, but of the extraordinary possibilities born from community and collaboration.
Throughout the evening, guests shared stories, exchanged ideas, and celebrated the women behind the pages. Several featured architects also participated in recorded conversations, offering personal reflections on their creative journeys and perspectives. These intimate interviews will be shared in forthcoming videos, allowing the celebration and its conversations to continue.
A Beautiful Beginning
More than a book launch, the evening was a celebration of visibility, connection, and the evolving role of women in architecture. It reflected a belief at the heart of benton buckley books — that extraordinary voices deserve a lasting place in our cultural dialogue.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Lutron, the Female Design Council, our featured architects, and everyone who joined us in honoring this remarkable collective.
