A Romance with Palm Beach: An Evening at Findlay Galleries
Recap from Our Spring Salon Series
There are nights that exist outside of time — scented with nostalgia, gilded with elegance — and March 16th at Findlay Galleries was one such evening. Against the golden hush of a Palm Beach sunset, the storied façade of this hallowed art house became the threshold to a world curated by beauty and reverie.
Inside, among masterworks and murmurs, we gathered to toast the official release of Jenny Garrigues: A Romance with Design. Beth Buckley, with her trademark vision, and Jenny Garrigues — muse, model, and maven — welcomed guests into a realm where every glance held a memory and every corner whispered history.
At the heart of it all was Jenny herself: poised, radiant, and surrounded by the very world she spent decades designing. Perched at a polished desk with the gilded book gleaming beside her, she signed each page not as an author, but as a storyteller granting an invitation. The queue flowed as effortlessly as the champagne — both endless, both effervescent.
Trays adorned with sparkling libations and delicate hors d'oeuvres glided past Impressionist landscapes and abstract treasures, turning the gallery into a living canvas. Conversations bloomed. Laughter echoed softly against the marble and frame. It wasn’t merely a launch — it was a portrait of the woman, the world, and the wonder she inspires.
It was, in essence, be-spōk/ [bespoke]: a philosophy of beauty come to life — an evening rendered in brushstrokes of elegance and framed in the memory of all who were lucky enough to attend.
